About the Arvita pilot

Arvita is preparing a small photo pilot for rabbits.

Breeder invitations are not open. The owner has not published the agreement.

Animal welfare comes first

During a photo session, ordinary handling and photos are enough.
Never force the mouth open. If the animal struggles, skip that photo.
The study can also include a swab and, after a cull, a labelled frozen head.
A cull for pain stays with the breeder. Do not delay it for a photo, a swab, or a result.

Breeders may later share photos and health answers about rabbits.

The photos look at how the front teeth meet, and at cloudy eyes. In this study, cloudy eyes are called Moon Eye.

The pilot is in preparation. It does not claim that a model is accurate, qualified, or available.

No breeder is enrolled from this page.

The draft agreement proposes that records would be visible only to the breeder who shared them and the study team.
